Karen Windness is an independent illustrator based in Denver, Colorado. She studied illustration at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design where she was a valedictorian graduate in 2002. She has worked as a designer, children's book illustrator, and pet portrait artist. She is débuting her art licensing collections at The Craft and Hobby Show in Anaheim, Feb.10-13, 2008. .
